More than just code.
A lever for growth.
Software engineering is often misunderstood as the simple act of writing code. I view it differently. Code is the byproduct; the actual goal is solving real operational bottlenecks and creating tangible business value. That's what my work has been about from the start.
In practice, that means designing webhook-verified payment flows across Paystack, Flutterwave, Stripe, and PayPal — with escrow, milestone-based fund release, and multi-currency wallets. It means building RBAC and multi-tenant access control for enterprise clients, and shipping regulatory and compliance platforms from zero to production. The through-line is always the same: systems that handle money and access correctly, even when things go wrong.
The Technical Foundation
I work across the full stack with a focus on backends that stay clean as they grow. At MODE3 Technologies, I led the migration of the Convex ERP System from a Buffalo monolith to a modular Gin-based service architecture — decomposing tightly coupled code into service boundaries with standardized API contracts. At Glasshouse Waters, I structured the same instinct independently: clean separation between booking, user management, and billing.
I build on Go, TypeScript, ASP.NET/C#, FastAPI, NestJS, and Express — picking the framework that fits the problem. Across different engagements I've designed relational schemas with PostgreSQL and MySQL, containerized with Docker, and deployed behind Nginx on Linux VPS infrastructure. The priority is always clear separation of concerns, not trend-chasing.
